Anybody know where to find Recaro seats for a Ferrari? I would like a set for my F355.
Thanks.

Jared- Try looking for a large Porsche recycler, like the one in Rancho Cordova, CA, near Sacramento. Porsche has been using Recaros for years and you might be able to pick up a set complete with rails for a reasonable cost.

Another manufacturer you should check out is Sparco. They provide many of the racing seats for the Challenge and GTC Ferraris.

Knew a guy that had Sparco leather seats in his 348 SS. Looked just like a pair of Challenge seats for much much less.

A set of those seats out of a 575M, in tan, and including the rails, sold for less than $1000 on E-Bay last year. Other sets have gone for as high as $7K. All you can do is keep hunting and hope you get lucky.

The person who owned the seats hated them and had Ferrari replace them with the standard 575M seats with multiple adjustments and memory. Most people, however, like them and find them very comfortable.

Incidentally, those are not Recaro seats.

He PM'd me about selling them a few weeks ago.

While they are really nice, I think his price is really high. They are not factory, and how many 355 owners are out there who have a red interior, and are looking for a non OEM aftermarket option?

I'd buy them, as they would work in my white 355, but only if they were much, much less.

Henry- Affirmative, the only factory sports style seats I have seen with Daytona strips are in the 599 and later models, and those are multi-adjustable and cost out the Kazoo.

If you look at the 575s for sale above, our old friend that I nearly bought, TDF 575M 133729, with the sports seats and shelf in Crema and the rest of the interior in Cuoio, now has 35,000 miles and is for sale again. They leased it to someone after it became infamous on the internet and they could not sell it.

575M Racing Seats

Here is the actual option for the 575M. Note Daytona seating was not an option on these seats, nor was contrasting stitching or piping.
