I can't find a thread about replacing the battery in a 550 or 575. It looks like the antifreeze container must come out. Do all the hoses need to be removed? Anything else need to come out?
As Taz said, pretty straightforward job....although I'd turn off the master kill switch (circular knob near battery) before you get started. When completed, let the car go through the self-learn process and then reset the radio code. You do have the radio code; yes?
The learning sequence is pretty simple. Install your freshly charged battery, kill switch on, ignition key on, wait for the OK and start the car. Let her run for 10 minutes...and you're done. I'll take a look-see around here, as I'm pretty sure I have a PDF of the alarm document. Then again, I probably got it from Taz, as he is the "document king."
Best,
David
