Let's just suppose that you could build your dream garage. What would you have in it?

You forgot all of the above so I didn't vote!

Mark
Lift baby! Lift! :D

Forza,

Dane
I'm with Mark, is there an all of the above option?
There was little flexibility in the poll. I wish there was a feature that allowed to select various once. I should have put an all of the above one too.
Well if you put in "all of the above", then that would be the obvious winner of the poll.
I am blessed in that I have 3 of the 10 "dream garage" items already in place (the fridge loaded with beer is one of them).

The indoor pressure washing enclosure is something I do not need. I have a Jeep and quite often when I bring it home I need to wash it (and myself) before I bring it into the garage. That is best an outdoor activity.

I would like to have a nice "state-of-the-art" floor. The floor in my garage is asphalt. It really sucks. But, it is what the house came with and when you consider that I have 5-cars worth of garage space it is something you can learn to live with. Better than dirt. I would rather have a lift than a nice floor. When I build my new house I hope to have both. Actually, I will have 9 of the 10 items you mentioned. I won't have an indoor pressure washer enclosure, although I might have an area I can enclose as a spray booth! That is something you didn't consider in your dream garage!

I've seen a garage that had heating coils in the floor and then a black and white checker board finish. That garage was just amazing!
A simple and inexpensive alternative is the pit. I have a 3'-6" X 10'
6' Deep pit in my single story garage. It is the cats pajamas. I had it poured when the floor went in and they charged me an extra $100.00
I had thought about putting in a pit however, the water table here is not that far down and I think I would end up with an indoor pool.
all!!! what are you crazy? this is like picking between any playboy chic i wanted.
I can definitely say the one thing I would NOT want in there is the fridge loaded with beer... Why? I'd spend all my time drinking instead of getting to work on my cars!

My dream garage would be more of a dream WORKSHOP. A complete machining/welding/fabricating/painting facility. Obviously because of my tradesman roots. My joy in classic car ownership is the work I do on them. I'd love to build-up a collection of barn-find junked classics and restore them to prestine condition...

Now if only I could win that darn lottery...

Ahh yes! I too have been investing in the high risk retirement portfolio.
I have 7 out of the 10. I do not have the washer, compressor,or lift. ( I must confess, diet coke is in the frig. not beer) BTW It,s a five car garage and is full.
All the Dream Garages seems to be missing the most important item......the Ferrari.

I certainly would call it a showroom house rather than a garage. Jimmy
Of all those things I think the only I actually have already is SOME ferrari memorabilia and DEFINATELY the fridge full of beer!

Dream Garage...how much time do you have?

I have it pictured in my mind, however...first, I have to totally fence in my property, then landscape the front yard, then do the garage. There is a priority list. Already have an air compressor in there, but my framed Ferrari posters are stored away....waiting. I found the flooring I want but the cabinets...I'm still trying to decide. The Honda motorcycle collection will be in there too. Thank goodness Honda had the intelligence to maintain a red color scheme thru the years...they'll blend in well :)
Hondas:
'75 MR50
'73 XR75
'74 XR75
'74 XL125
'86 XR250
'00 XR50
'00 400EX (the only 4 wheeler)
'03 CRF150F
'05 CRF230F
also a few parts bikes laying around
