on arrival the day already started good since we ran into a nice 550, only thing, it was a belgian, car, so you drive all the way to paris to run into a belgian ferrari
the show itself was very good, as usual, with 12 Ferrari's present
amongst them a 212 Export Spider, 375 America, 250 Interim, 250 TDF, 250 SWB and so on

And to end the day we stopped by Le Palais Congress for the Poullain Le Flur auction wich had a bunch of Ferrari's present including the Beurlys F40 Spider, Enzo, 512 TR, 512 BBi, 365 GT2+2, 308 GTS, 328 GTS & a 348 Challenge

altough this time there where not that many ferrari's on the road, just that 550, a british 360 Spider and a 456 on the freeway, we did run into a brand new Maser QP & an Aston Martin Vanquish S :D

John
let me put it like this
the estimate on it is €140-180.000
doesn't that ring a few bells?

and it's not a real F40, just an F40 engine with LM specs since the car should have around 700HP

Great pics Dirk.

The F40 is 79890

Aparently it is sort of a hybrid car. It has an F40 engine and chassis but the body is "home made"

Here is what enzo360 said about it on ferrarchat:

"the chopped F40 mentioned isn't an actual F 40. It was developed in 1993 using a F40 as a base. A bi-turbo V8 F 40 engine of 2.936cc producing 650 hp @ 7500 rpm sits in the back. A total weight of 960 kg. Specially made on order of Mr Blaton by an Italian-Swiss team, under supervision of Argentinian Mario Navarete and former technicians from the Coloni F1 team. Using a Hewland 5 speed box and a V8 biturbo engine relates it to a F 40. The engine is attached to the cage for overall stiffness. Suspension uses F1 technology."

I'll work on the other serials later
