Hi Joe. I've driven (but not owned) all your portfolio, except the Z8 and the Fisker. Nice garage! Got some friends at Ferrari LI, too. Welcome.I have a 2006 F430 F1 Spider Red/Tan. I also have:
2006 FORD GT
2005 ASTON MARTIN DB9
2002 BMW Z8
2005 PORSCHE CAYENNE S
1971 E-TYPE JAGUAR ROADSTER
1931 MODEL A ROADSTER DELUXE
2006 FISKER TRAMONTO

Why did you sell the Z8 and GT? They are great cars.Have an 06 F430 spider, grec silverstone/gray.
Also currently have an 07 C4S cab. Recently sold off a Z8, Cayenne Turbo, SL65 and Ford GT. Working on an 09 Aston Vantage convt; most likely after the new year, if I can stand to wait that long!

I agree with you about the Z8. It is probably the best car I have ever owned! I still get a thrill from the GT.*************
No more space in the garage, even with a four post lift! I will regret the Z8 sale for the rest of my life. I loved the pure balance and style in that car and should have never sold it, but along came an offer I didn't think I could pass up to sell. Stupid, stupid stupid!
The GT was just so-so in my case. I grew tired of it after about 1.5 years and was not driving it enough to justify keeping it. I find the F430 to much more of a whole-car, and being a spider, I love the open air Sunday driving much more.
In the end it comes down to space, amount I want invested in fun toys and how I begin to feel about each one.
And I have a sign in my garage which states, "So many cars...so little time". I think that sums it up for me!
Happy motoring,
I believe the Z8 to be among the best styled cars ever. Just admire the details! By far, the best BMW....the Z8. It is probably the best car I have ever owned!
Very interesting comments on the Z8. It was a car I had more or less forgotten about until I happened to park near one recently. Really looked terrific. In terms of driving, which Ferrari models is it closest to?I agree with you about the Z8. It is probably the best car I have ever owned! I still get a thrill from the GT.
My solution to the problem was to build a nine car garage for all my toys.
My wife named it the "Toy Box".
Which is closer in feel to the Ferrari, the R8 or the Vantage?Hello gents,
After my last post, I indeed did add an '09 Aston Martin Vantage - 6spd, convt w/ sport pkg and loaded. Then, a month later added an '09 Audi R8, also 6-spd and loaded. All three are very uniquely different in character and driving feel. Yet, all very rewarding on the open road.
Drive on!
Gorgeous!I am here in the UK, 20 miles south of London, Black 430
Very nice garage! I saw an AM Vantage Roadster N400 in Holland at the dealership. Gunmetal grey with black interior and red stitching. Very, very nice! But I like the R8 well enough too. Enjoy your cars!Hello gents,

Hi from California. 2007 Yellow 430.
Thanks for the insights. Need to get a test drive in a R8 one of these days.Boxer - I find the R8 much closer to the F-car in feel, handling and quickness. The Aston is a great car too, but more of a sport tourer. I'm guessing the new V-10 R8 will be even more of an F430 match!
