The drive I'll never forget
Pickuing up my 328gts at the dealer at Eindhoven and driving home to Amsterdam :)
Not my first drive in a ferrari, but owning my first ferrari and driving it behind the weel :)
Thats something I'll never forget, took me weeks to get rid the smile on my face
Even now just remembering is good for a smile :)

Hi guys, I just joined the forum so I am new here,
One time i was driving my 360 spider home and got off at my exit on the freeway when i saw a Porsche 996 turbo pass by me. I decided to go for it and try to catch up to him. I hopped back on the freeway and we raced for a while until traffic got too bad and he just took off from me. Another time right when the car reached its 600 mile break in I was on a really empty wide open section of highway 5 in california and right when the odometer went to 600 i downshifted and redlined in the car in 4th, 5th, and got the car to 170 or so. I have never driven it that fast since. P.S. I just sold my 360 spider last week and have a Scuderia Red Stradale on order. I am going to pick it up in May at the factory and go to Monaco and the German grand prix. It should be a good time. How strict are they on speed limits in Italy???

welcome Stradale Dan

a speed limit for a Ferrari in Italy???
you must be joking right? :green:

italians can be forgiving especially for Ferrari's, if you decide to speed make sure you are on the freeway and that it isn't crowded
else rippit open on the german autobahn, that's what i usually do.
But be ware, if you see a speedlimit signs on the german freeway saying you have to do 110, then do it, else have fun :green:

Welcome here Dan,

I hope to see you here more often, with photos of your new Stradale ofcourse.

My only ride in a Ferrari was a passenger ride. My brother came into the house screaming: Bob!, there is a Ferrari in Eerbeek(the very small villige I lived in then) So I grabbed a camera and biked to the place with my brother. It was a 456 GT, dark blue. So we made some pictures, the owner came outside, and opened the hood. We made more pictures, we want to thank him and leave. Then he says: Now we have to go for a ride. We made a nice trip, and came back the. My only ride, but it was good :)
