Tifoso_boy,

Then the debate will be "what is an exotic?" Porsche's in general, no, but definitely a select few. Is there an exotic Corvette out there? I can't think of one. Ford's? Probably some votes for GT40's. It'd be interesting to see what people see as exotic...

Dane,

Let's then ponder the question of 'what is an exotic?'. I guess it's where you live. Here in Houston, corvettes, boxsters, and big benzes are a dime a dozen. So, I would say any Ferrari (duh), Lambo, porsche TT, bentley's, Aston Martin, and rolls could play in our game. With special consideration to bmw, amg benzes, vipers......

Tifoso_boy,

Well said. I'm from NW Montana where a Porsche 911 would be considered exotic, perhaps. A 911 in Houston "exotic?" Yeah, right!

Still, I still am not convinced a TT'd Porsche or even an AMG Mercedes is exotic. I'd like to see what the dictionary definition is for "exotic."

If your countihng Porsche as an exotic. Do we take every Porsche or certain models???
cuz if you say every Porsche then i can usually see at least about 10 per day, same thing with Merc S, BMW 7, Audi TT.
Does kinda cars are pretty regular around here.

If i would count the cars in let's say a 5 km radius from my house, i'd probally end up with about 25 Porsche's, 7 Ferrari's, 3 Aston's, a few TVR's, some bentley, rolls, several classics, lot's of Jags, i think 3 RS4's and a lot more that i can't think off right now

I think 'exotic' is subjective, and like I said before..it depends where you're at. But in the spirit of fun, I'm gonna open a new thread in the gen disc forum dedicated to what 'interesting' cars our fellow members few on their hometown streets.

I live in Orange County, California. The exotic cars are everywhere. High school kids drive Porsches, Corvettes, Vipers, BMW, as well as a few Mercedes. Only the Lambo & Ferrari can turn a few heads here. Since winter never comes, everyone drives everything all the time. This weekend as I drove down the coast to Laguna Beach, I stop at a small restaurant. Why? Because there were two red Ferraris in the lot.

Only a McClaren would make everyone looks around here. Even the Hummer is common.
