They look pretty cool at the distance the photo was taken. In profile shot, the 348/355 is a beautiful looking car anyway, the wheels just finish it off.

yeah, it looks better, but I don't know where you got the guts to change anything in your car! hehehehehe

the original wheel is 17", right? I guess the new one is 19" or 20", since the brake discs seem so small now!

Definate improvement! Now I can't believe how cheap the original wheels look.

Good eye stile...those are 19's. Now I have room for a new set of oversize brembo's. Thinking about powder coating the calipers red or yellow. Any opinions?

Well, I love the 348 and im all into personalization…and those rims are amazing, simply beautiful. I love five spoke wheels that don’t get too slim at the edge like the 360, I find them ugly, almost as if they are going to break off the wheel. Your selection was perfect; the small nuts all around the wheel are just the right size and not too overwhelming.

I found that Black and yellow go very nice together, I suggest you paint your calipers yellow to also match the Cavalino center cap…

BTW, what brand of rims are they, what model and what size did you choose?
Oh almost forgot, what rubber did you decide to wrap for those awesome rims with?

The yellow would look pretty sharp but I think I'd go with red for the simple fact that red is better at hiding dirt then yellow. The yellow calipers will look awesome when you install them but the first time you step on the brake they will be covered in black dust. You pretty much will be removing all the rims once a month to clean the calipers. The brake dust won't be nearly as noticeable on red calipers. Plus, you already have a lot of red on the car in the way of lenses, the red calipers would kind of blend in better rather than another splash of yellow. The yellow wheel centers are kind of a "highlight", the yellow calipers would be another "highlight" and draw the eye away from the overall picture. I'm thinking of the difference between a pretty woman with a diamond solitare necklace and Mr. T.

But here's what you can do before you go to the expense and trouble of removing the calipers to send them out for powder coating and reinstalling them and bleeding the brake system, go to the hardware store and buy two cans of spray paint. Paint the calipers on one side yellow and red on the other side. Look at it over the course of a few days and decide which you like best. Post the pictures on here as a poll. Better that way then going through all the trouble of powder coating them one color and later wishing you'd done the other color.

They are Highline Wheels I purchased used. Owner had then painted Grigio to match his 360. I was thinking about painting them black but the Grey seems to work just fine...not to overwhelming...I think I'll leave it.

They are wrapped with Vredestein rubber. took it for a quick spin and noted a MUCH higher road noise compared to PZero's. They seem sticky enough although I couldn't hit them hard. One wheel must be out of balance.

Front wheels did not clear calipers so I had to install a spacer. The spacers provided are thicker than I need causing the fronts to extend just beyond the fender flare. they are 25mm. Need to find a set at +/- 10mm, then I'll be perfect.

I love the look. Changes the car dramatically.

I agree, the yellow calipers will look best. Scuderia shields next.

yellow would be my choice too, specially when you put the shield (I like all the details in yellow, specially in a black car like yours)

but Pete did show some good arguments, I agree with him that painting each side with one color could give you a better idea

I can't even look at the picture with the original wheels anymore hehehehe

Nice !
I agree with the yellow calipers, Ferrari details should be yellow.
I have tried Michelin, Good Year and Bridgestone. The Bridgestones are by far the best so far.
Michelin makes noise like dumper wheels.
Good Year are #¤%&* and the Bridgestones are worth every penny.
I have 225/45 17 EB30. Just love them, quiet and god on whet roads.

Pete dropped me a cheeky message to say i was needed on this thread so here is my view! :D

If your thinking of yellow calipers i say go for it! they look awesome... here is a piccy of our 997 C4s with PCCB if this does not sway you nothing will! the yellow calipers are so easy to clean just some good wheel cleaner, detail brush & a little blast from the good old pressure washer.... done!

tell me what you think?? :)

A great choice in wheels. What a difference. With the color of the wheels and the car why not a bright non-metalic blue on those calipers. It would be just different enough that you might start a trend......or not.
