Hi guys,

I just wanted to ask what did the 288GTO sell for when it was released back in the day and what does it sell for today (if you can get your hands on one) and are there any official numbers of how many are left around the globe?

In the UK it was £73,499.

272 were built

and I want one very very much!!!!

There are no figures for how many are left, for any model of Ferrari. How would you know? For the GTO, I would guess that between 240 and 250 must be left. But I have nothing to base it on, of course. Just a thumbsuck.

I would kill for one, as well. Gorgeous car.

At the moment it is a bit difficult to say what they would go for. F40's have dropped to between $400 and $500k and the GTO is usually quite close in price, just a little higher. But in the current market you could quite possible snap one up for less, if the seller is desperate.

Here is a video of this 288GTO. I recognise the registration plate. Why dont you buy this one? Do you know what they are asking for it?
