Agreed.
Luca's scheme is to take Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo out of the deal with GM (if any). They will form an italian sport brand in the field of commercial cars.

As well as already done for the design improvment, I believe that a big effort will be undertaken to cover the Maserati lack of success too. Great drivers, Mikka Salo included, have been engaged for the MC12 and 2005 could see Maserati winning again.
