Has anybody experience with hte weight of a 308 stell car and a 308 resina?
In all books a have is a difference from 1090 to 1430 kg.
Is a steel car with same equipmet really 200 kg more than a resina?
Rainer
Sorry I don't know either but bear in mind that the steel panels are thin while the fibreglass ones are damn thick! There probably isn't as much difference as you may think.
The weight savings with the fiberglass 308 GTB is variable depending on which version you have (Euro, North American, Australian, Japanese).
With my 1976 North American version 308 GTB Fiberglass, I probably have approximately a 100 kg weight savings over a steel North American version as I have a Euro ANSA exhaust mounted. The original thermal reactor muffler (residing in my garage) was very heavy. My car retains the heavy impact-resistant bumpers and the two air pumps.
