Anyone know where the oil temperature sender unit is located on a V8? My gauge has just stopped working & I'm hoping the wire may have been dislodged by some recent works. Is it one of the fittings adjacent to the oil filter?

It's the one by the oil filter opposite of the sensor that is closest to the center of the engine (the one closest to the center of the motor is the low oil pressure light sensor.

on 348 it is on the fuel tank, I post a topic about it with photos...it is often due to a bad ground wire...

I thought you were talking about the 308 engine.

It's a 3.2 engine (Mondial). I have assumed that at least the 308 & 328 would be the same. 348 maybe not.
