I have been thinking that when my original back box needs replacing I would fit a Tubi. I have had a quote of £1320 + VAT (!!!)

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had got experience of passing a UK MOT with this type of exhaust. I have heard that the maximum limit is 76dB(A), for a car.

(I had a sports end-can on one of my bikes and when told by plod to change it back to the original it was no problem and only 'wasted' £150. It would be a different story with a TUBI and an old original box full of holes).

Any advice appreciated.

Good question Andy - I've been thinking about fitting a Tubi too - I'd be interested in the answer to this one.

Being a biker too, I know how easy it is to change the can for the MOT, and change it back again - but that's not really an option with the car.

have you seen the supersprint exhaust system in technical part of the forum?
Yes - looks very nice! When the summer comes, I'll have to make a choice - there are a few to choose from.
