Hey guys,
I was researching this car (which I had seen at this year's Lime Rock Ferrari Race Days) & came up w/ this info; for those who give a poop  .
It is s/n 4713GT & is the only one built w/ 330 LMB bodywork. Aside from this it is a completely correct 250 GTO. Built for Luigi Chinetti's NART team, it finished 6th overall & 3rd in class at LeMans in 1963 at the hands of Masten Gregory & David Piper before being sold & shipped to N. America where it raced at tracks including Bridgehampton, Daytona, Mosport & VIR before being retired from competition in September 1964. (race history courtesy of classicscars.com)
IMO this body is probably the nicest I've seen on a GTO & certainly more attractive than the 1964 Series II. What do you think?
