Bill- You pulled my normal routine. I bet he got new tires seven years ago. Brian used to love pimping me for all the times I answered a five year old post.

I tried Mich and loved them, but this last time around got the 'clone' alternatives and they have been just great, not a Mich, but will probably buy again: NITTO NT555

BTW: It's a daily driver and I put on about 100 miles/day and have had the tires on for about 1+ years. They still have tons of tread, and I take the corners above speed: GRIP is confident.

Well, some modification is needed. Stopped into my trusty Sonoma TIre store and inquired on
the MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S and with out the door to include alignment =< $1,300.00

That seems a higher than NITTO number but ok with me.

I am not a fan of the AS tread in that it's a bit harder and that Pilot has centered water treads, where the sides are NOT as grip looking as I'd like, but might just give them a try.
