My son just returned from the Orange County Auto Show. He was NOT impressed with the 612 or the pictures of the 599.

He said, “The 612 looks like any other high end performance car. Any one can now make a high horsepower car. When I first saw the 612, I thought it was a Jaguar. The 599 looks like it is a copy of the Nissan Z. The 430 looks like a Ferrari.”

Where did I go wrong in raising my son?

No where did you go wrong Bart. Your son is right, the 430 is the most Ferrari-looking of the new Ferraris.

I didn't tell you that I have a model of a 550 right in my computer room. The 1:1 scale 308 is out in the garage, but I have the 1:18 550 right next to me (along with the F-40, F-50 and the F-2002 race car).
