Taking 360 to the track

Hi,
New to this board and Ferrari as a brand. Bought a 360F1 that I want to take to the track. Can't find any track tires other than slicks - I want to drive to and from the track- that closely match the stock dimensions in terms of rolling radius. What do you guys use, if anything?
What about pads? Is there a Ferrari equivalent to Pagid for Porsche?
What about bras? Can't find a colgan and 600 for a speed lingerie is the price of a respray....
Looking forward to answers.
All the best

jrotsaert,

In terms of tires, I can't give much advice. But I do have an answer for your brake pads. Board sponsor DexM offers track pads for the 360. There is a post in this same section regarding the pads. They are Razzo Rosso brand pads, and are a Carbon Kevlar compound. The compound is designed speciffically for track use. Contact us if we can be of further assistance.

Seems more like an advert than real info so far... What can you tell me about them? What do Challenge cars use? How long do these pads work? What type of torque characteristic do they have? What temperatures do they start to fade at? Lots of open questions...
Thanks
JM
we went to the track there was one racing with slicks but very desappointed corvette coupe passed her like it was nothing

The trouble with Ferrari 360 pads is they have a sensor that's placed in a small slot, cut into the front pads. Yes you can get Pagid for the 360 but they'll be without this slot. So your brake warning light will be on all the time. If you don't mind that, then use the Pagid by all means.

The Challenge cars use bigger calipers and discs, so they're no help.

Tyres, use either Pirelli Rosso Corsa or Michelin Pilot Sports Cup. They're semi-slicks with shallow grooves and suitable for the road bu fantastic on track.
I don't mind the absence of slots as I check the wear myself. I will get Pagids if I can find some. What sizes Corsas or PSC do you use?
I looked at all sites that sell these tyres and can't find any rears that will work even close to stock and my experience with this is that it totally screws up ABS and ASR systems - not a good idea!!!!
My car is a standard Modena F1 with 18" stock wheels and tyres
Thanks

Are you in the U.S. or Europe? If you're in the U.S. I reccomend TheTireRack.com and if in Europe Demon Tweeks in England. Call them and tell them the application Track/Street, how much of which, and they'll be more than happy to talk to you about tire applications. Both have a lot of experience with Road Car applications.
I'm actually spending my time between both but the car is in the UK...
Thanks for your advice
