Anyone has the statistics for number of Stradales produced, those without and with stripes. I have been having this argument with my friend and we can't settle it.

He said it's 400 (after he had dinner with the Ferrari driving instructors who were here in KL recently). But I read in one of the forum it was 800 with 10% in stripes. So who's right?

I did talk to one of the senior Ferrari representatives in Europe, and he indicated to me that there will be slightly more produced than the envisaged 800. Also, he stated that roughly 10% of all Stradales were ordered with the Stripes.

Who knows????

I would have thought the number ordered with the stripes would have been higher, I like the stripes.

BTW sims, how do you like that Porshe SUV?

It's USD5,000 actually. A lot of people didn't want to pay for it because they thought it was a "sticker" as what was put on the demeo models when they went around the world. But it's actually painted on and the process is rather complicated. The car is painted in the ordered colur first, then the paint at the stripe is strippep and then the stripe is painted so as to give a flat surface between the stripe and the rest of the paintwork.

It was no question to me that I want the Stradale with the Stripes, until I heard of the price tag. My dealer suggested to paint the stripes with a paint-brusher. Investigations made clear that Ferrari has all the details and therefore the Stradale cannot hold the value from a mid-term perspective. So, I went for the 'original' stripes and I have not regretted it.

Cayenne TT is fun. Though the Porsche service concept is not satisfactory at all. Ferrari is the benchmark for everything!!!!
