Anyone had experience with replacing the steering rack ass'y on any of 302/328/Mondial? I'm curious about how difficult the job is & whether there are any traps or tricks to be forewarned about.
Thanks Charles. I have done it before (on a Mini funnily enough), & the hardest bit was separating the balljoints (even with a screw-driven splitter tool). I have no idea how tight it is access-wise getting a Ferrari one installed though. One plus is that mine's an '87 & power steering only came in in '89 with the 3.4 motor.
