Spa track days
I've been looking to combine a track day in Spa and an afternoon on the Nordschleife, so that I could visit both on the same trip.
My challenge has been to find two consecutive days where:
- Spa is open for a track day of some sort
- the Nordschleife is open for a week day afternoon, prior or after, that means certain Mondays and Fridays.
The Spa track days I found are:
- Marc Duez on Fri 07/22, but I would have to do both on the same day, too much to enjoy
- Goldtrack on 07/21, which looks ideal, but there's a big Ferrari event on the Nuerburgring Friday 07/22 so I am afraid it will attract masses to the Eifel, not ideal for a Nordschleife discovery. The Goldtrack event costs 250GBP which is not cheap either, furthermore as I am more into discovering the track than holding a full blown track day
- Bookatrack on Thu 08/25 but the Nordschleife is not open on Fri 08/26, arg...

The Nordschleife is only open for full afternoons on certain Mondays and Fridays. All other week days, when open, are late afternoon sessions, 17:15 to 19:30. Way too short and probably rather unideal in terms of light conditions, even in the summer.
