next week sunday there's an italian car event at Spa Francorchamps http://www.spaitalia.be/

i was there last year and will be there again this year, and it's the biggest italian car meeting in belgium and defenitly worth a visit since there are lot of cool italian cars, but they also do a tribute to a coachbuilder, last year it was Bertone, this year it's Zagato

well heck, last year i saw my first and only 288 GTO Evoluzione there, so i wonder what special car they will have this year

Zagato had some wonderful one-off bodied Ferraris. Maybe you'll get to see the TR he did. I think it is a TR. Has a front end similar to the now Enzo, was pounded in the late 80s among others.

unfortunually it wasn't there, i had hoped it would have been since it was on the flyer

but as you can follow in the other topic the 250 GT Zagato should be a repclica but wich one?
the 250 TR IS a replica, now i finally found out the s/n, it was originally a Boano
and i think that the Aston DB4GT Zagato also was a fake, but i will have to look into that, since i know that there are 19 build and i was pretty certain that all 19 had a double bubble roof and this one didn't have one

still don't know the daytona spyder, altough we noticed some things on the carroserie so that we know it's a conversion

about the Lusso, that's very easy, that's 04979GT
the car lives about 3 km from here  altough it spends a lot of time at Ferrari Antwerp (about 12km in the other direction :green: )

Lucky you,
I have to wait for one to pass by on a sunny weekend. Here in Middelkerke a lot of friends keep their eyes open and if they spot one parked they call me on my cell phone so if I'm free I can go get pics. Sometimes it works out well, sometimes it doesn't. The nearest is Garage Monza(about 70kms) for me and there they are NOT so polite. I sometimes go to Knokke for some spotting and in Ostend we have a Lotus dealer who does maintainance for a couple Prancing Horses.

not nice at Garage Monza??
what are you talking about mr De Buck (garage owner) is alway friendly to me, i even talked to him during the Spa Ferrari Days when he arrived in a Quattroporte borrowed from his brothers garage.

he told me then that they should receive a 612 later this month

BTW what lotus dealer is that?

i usually goto Knokke & Catzand, the dogs can run on the beach all year there

Dirk,
besides the garage nextdoor to Verhiest( my cousin specialised in BMW M-models and race preparing (Qvick Motors) and a small one in Westende dealing in oldtimers(mainly models 1920-1930) nothing special.
The more intresting is a garage I've found through visiting SpaItalia last year is a guy who has a garage in Italian marques(Alfa,..) and he has a colection of about 35 Lambos, all different tipos. It's in Waregem. Can't remember the name right now, though.
