Hello everyone. I had a question about smoke on start up of my 1995 355. When i start the car and leave it on idle white smoke comes out for 3 minutes or so until the car is warmed up and then goes away and that happens every time. Is that normal.

Thanks in advance

re: Some on start up

thats what i thought. When i touch the exhaust it does feels like moist but not oil or any thing like that. Ahh i was getting worried about getting a valve guide issue.

only with a Ferrari people take this
ANY other brand that would have smoke coming out of the car and the dealer said: ooh perfectly normal, we would strangle the sales guy and drive the car thru the showroom window.
but with a Ferrari it's considered normal and we all find it normal aswell
appreciate the irony in it :green:

It happens on most cars with a more free flowing exhaust. Water in the pipes heats up into steam and is blow out in the first few minutes. Really nothing to worry about.
