My 2001 550 is due for a 5 year, 20,000 mile maintenance.

It has always been maintained by an authorized Ferrari dealership which I expect helps maintain value, so any shop recommendations between San Francisco and northern Los Angeles?

I live in San Luis Obispo.

Honestly there's a lot of good shops out there you're going to have to go check them out for your self. What sort of work you're looking to get done ?
