My collection contains about 120 Ferrari's at 1/43
about a dozen Le Mans & CanAm's at 1/43

most of my 1/18 are packted in boxes (don't like the details on them anymore like the Burrago's)
and probably my coolest cars are the F50 & Mercedes CLK GTR at 1/12th
i'll post some pics of them, but how do I get it like an attachement like you are doing in this post Andrew??

It was made by Tamiya in 1997 on 1/12th
it should be a limit edition but i don't know how many
but i do you that 2 months after i bought it it was nower available anymore
the car had arrived at the store in the morning and i bought it in the afternoon, the second one was sold the same evening.

Peter i like the 328, you don't really seem them that much on scale

here are some more pics from the F50

hey Tifosi_Boy
80 1/18th's
that takes up a lot os space.
Personally i think that they are too big and the level of detail isn't good enough.
I have about 130 Ferrari's, but most of them are 1/43th

The shelfing is good, but you have to clean it a lot.
I have a special closet for it, so i only have to clean it once or twice a year. but it takes several hours.
Here's a pic of the closet, it contains a part of my collection, i have more  .
Andrew check to other pic to give you an idea of the level of detail on a 1/43.
OK, it's not a Ferrari, but still a great model.
I can make some close-ups of Ferrari's if you want

i know the dust is really anoying.
if you have them in open air, the dust crawls in every where, if you don't clean them for a while then you have problems getting it cleaned.
My closet was the "cheapest" solution that i could find and that could fit a lot of cars

there are glass sliding doors in front of it??
didn't notice it, i use it too, but there isn't that much dust.

I know what you mean when you tell people that you collect, they call you nuts, waste of money and stuff like that.
Untill they see my collection
They are usually suprised by it, and think it's amazing

Peter, I have 2 Detail Cars in the red velvet boxes
a 355 Berlinetta and a 456, both are limited and hand painted in a special colour as you now, there should be 6 Ferrari's in that collection, but these where the only 2 i could find.
Can you post pics of yours??

I've started collecting when i was about 10 years old.
I have a pretty rare collection now
