I was wondering
Since i'm a huge scale models collector, if there where any ohter people on the board who collect to.

So...I believe that almost everybody has reacted on this Post. I didn't read everything but I just wanted to reply to the first post...
I am also a scalemodels collector. I used to buy al lot of them...since a few years I buy more books and magazines. But my collection of scale models is about 250 cars, from scale 1:43 to 1:8 (Pocher F40!!). I also have some 50 books and over 200 magazines (from all over the world!). And ofcourse lot's of pictures.
At my site I am selling some magazines (and one book) I had double. Now I'm also putting some pictures (etc) of scalemodels on the site...
so...that was a bit of my story...now I'm going to read what everybody else wrote

did you build it yourself or did you have it build for you?

I'm 26 now...I got the F40 for my birthday when I was, I think, 18 or 19. I did build it myself, it's very easy to do...but it did took me four days...and in those days I even worked at night...I have made some photo's of the building also, I will look for them and post them here or on my site

Do you also have the 1/12 F50 from Tamya?

ofcourse I can make new pics. I now also have a digital camera so that can't be to difficult It can take some days, but there will be new pics

And, nope...I don't have the 1/12 F50. I did wanted it...but...you can't buy everything :lol: And recently I don't buy many models anymore. I'm more searching for magazines, books, watches etc. But I do have a very big list of models I really really want...

ow...and the building of the F40 wasn't that difficult. It has a very good inscription, you don't need any gluw or paint and most of the parts fit easy (by a click system). Of course there are some tricky parts...and when you are tired (late at night) you do get frustrated sometimes...but it was fun to do!

Nice to have that serie complete. It's always nice to have magazine series complete. I only have Forza complete...or...I had it complete and now I miss two issues...don't ask me were they went...but there gone

Did you also see the (slightly) bigger pics of the F40 on my site??

And speaking about sites...when will your site completely work?????? I'm very interested in all the pics you must have

i HATE small pics

i must say i love that key chain

small pics are good when you still have a 56k modem. At work I've got cable...but at home...pfff. So that's why I use small pics as a preview. But the enlargements are better?? aren't they?

And the key chain is indeed lovely. And another thing. When I wanted to make that picture I couldn't open the door...I was pulling and thinking...and then I figured it out...You have to push the dooropener on top of the door....it was still locked!!! Nice detail huh?!
