STOCK

:p Hi D.J. No she is still stock,I have heard the 3.2s with the tudi installed, but never road in one..I think that with the roof down it may be a little too loud,as mine sounds VERRY nice as is ,Mick.. :green: :green:

for me life is really hard ;-)
yesterday evening i had to drive home through heavy rain, as you may imagine i was too lazy to close the roof for the 10 min. drive (you know that it is hard work) and got all wet.

i would wash my car more often if i could drive through a regular drive-in car wash, but because the roof is of course leaking like a sieve and i hate to wash cars by hand, it usually gets only washed once in a season before the winter sleep.

however, mine is built to be driven hard and not to be washed.....at least till the next breakdown.

:p :p HI,Belive me, I drive my car fairly hard .Iusually change gears at 35 to 4000 rpms, and sometimes wind her up to 6000 in 2nd or 3rd,but since my dads freind came over to how house in England in his new red 246 Dino oweing a Ferrari for me is a dream Ive had since I started driving,I belive if you have a lovely looking car, it should be well maintained which means keeping it clean,,The only way I could see not having the car aiways clean would be if it was a daily driver.. My car only gets driven on the weekends, and sometimes to the gym after work.It gets washed about every 16 hours of driving ,unless it rains..and polished about 3 times a year..P.S. Keep all your cylinders behind you,, :eek:ha: :eek:ha: :green:  8)
mick,

you should drive your beauty with some more revs! i try to avoid driving below 4000, because there is not enough power (and not enough sound). changing gears depends, in normal traffic around 6000, when i'm accelerating really hard, i change between 8000 and 8500, just short before the limiter. mine (3.4 T) has the best torque around 5500 rpms, so there starts the fun ;-)

and....watch out, if the cylinders are starting to overtake you, it's getting weird ;-)

now you see why you have a ferrari!!! and you know what's just about all limits?.....do it in a tunnel with the roof open.....INCREDIBLE....

i have given my sound system away, now i have an ugly hole with wires in it, but that's good for the thieves, they see the hole and think "too late" ;-)
