My regular indie mechanic died from COVID. My 1988 TR is coming due for a belt service. I live in rural Central/SW Florida....any recommendations for a reliable mechanic?
I have a 1991 TR that I used Tim Stanford many times. Always great. But recently he was not available and I had to use another shop. Bad experience.
There is a shop in Miami that may be able to take care of you.
His name is Winston. He is on SW 114 place

There is a shop in Sarasota run by the son of mechanic I used for 15 years. Cannot remember name but can be found on search.

I can highly recommend two awesome mechanics in the Central Florida area. They are both very familiar with working on TRs! They have both worked on my 1981 308 GTSi with amazing results. They are very busy and it takes quite some time to get an appointment as well as they take a good deal of time working on your vehicle, so don't expect quick turnarounds.
