Hi Guys,
This may be a silly question (not a good start) but my 308GTS doesn't appear to ever have holes drilled in the rear panel to attach the rear number plate. The owner I purchased it off (and also the original owner) informed me that they did not want to drill any holes and used double sided tape to attach the rear plate. Is this normal? If this is normal, I will probably carry on the tradition. If this is so, is there a special tape to use?

Argento,

Yes, I believe that this is quite normal. In fact, the MX-5 that I used to drive had the same thing. I believe that with the arrival of the European number plates a few year ago, the use of tape has been outlawed in favor of screws (still amazes me, the things one can legislate).

Try any garage of decent size. They might be able to help you.
