No it is not based on asking prices.It is base on what they are acuataly selling for in the conditions stated.It is updated with the results from dealers across the U.S. I dont know how often but I suspect monthly.
I find the numbers to be right on as I have just sold 1 car am going to list 2 more for sale after the holidays.Probably making a mistake but want a 355.

That is a pretty good no nonsense site. I like it. I usually use the NADA for my pricing info here at http://www.nadaguides.com/
The site you presented seem to fall pretty much in line with NADA.
