White/tan 328 GTS?My 89 82068
So is this really the car in which Antonio Cocozza died while testing near the factory?White 1968 365 GT European version #12037
Nice car! This car was for sale in May, 2003, through Jon Gunderson of Murrieta, CA, red/tan, 4,400 miles, all books, tools and covers. Is that from whom you bought it?2001 360 Modena
S/N # 123043
Sport Seats
Tubi Exhaust
Hi, Greg - 16470 isn't the serial number, it's the assembly number; your car's serial number is 99445. I saw this car nearly three years ago in New York when it had 24,734 miles. It was just on eBay back in July, for sale through EuroSpeed Imports in San Francisco - is that where you purchased it?Here is mine... 95 Rosso Corsa/Beige # 16470
I don't know the exact number, somewhere around 70-80,000 - it ends up being roughly one third of total Ferrari (and Dino) production.Carbon, How many SNs do you have in your database now?
Cool, thanks!I bought the car from another owner in Las Vegas. It still has all the books, tools, covers and even a spare tire. The car has been very well cared for.
Eight years. That is incredibly impressive. How many years have you been collecting SNs?
Very nice! The interior used to be tan - and the paint used to be poor. Did you restore the car? Was it restored before you bought it? How long have you had it? How many miles are on it? It had 29,000 back in 1990. Congratulations, and welcome to the site. Please post a picture when you have a chance. Here's mine for the list:
308 GTBi
Serial # 37313
Built May 1981
Black paint, black interior.
Holy shit! The first 328 GTB! This is not merely a 328 GTB, it's THE 328 GTB! Can you tell us more about this car (how many miles, etc.), how long you've owned it, from whom you purchased it, etc. This is truly amazing! This car's whereabouts have been unknown since it left the factory!328GTB
VIN ZFFWA19B000058735
Color Ext. Rosso Corsa
Color Int. Beige
First registration: 1986
Thank you! I just read your thread - a few things I'd like to mention. First, as Brian noted, the only earlier 328 GTB serial number is 56211 - and while it's widely known, only a picture of the VIN would prove as confirmation considering how early it is, and it's gone completely unmentioned for so long. Also, 58687 is a 328 GTS - a Euro car that came up for sale here in California just a few months after it was built.Yes off course, I already introduced the car in the 328 owners list.

Vitalone's car, 18729, is the fifth fiberglass GTB. The first one, 18317, was the prototype; the second one, 18677, is widely regarded as the first fiberglass 308 - in terms of production cars, it is; the next one, 18679, was originally Azzurro Metallizzato, and was on the Pininfarina stand at Earls Court Show in 1975; the fourth, 18681, is a RHD fiberglass GTB that's currently in New Zealand; then we have Vitalone's car, built in September, 1975. The GTS wasn't introduced for another two years, so these are truly the first handful of cars to usher in a whole new, decade-long era of Ferrari.FYI, I believe Vitalone's 308 GTB was the 4th built and the 1st customer car.
Don't forget the red calipers!I introduced my car on the 550/575 owners' list but did not log it here.
For the record:
550 Maranello
Serial 110317
Rosso Corsa
Tan Interior
Delivered 11/1997
Vitalone is in Amsterdam, right? Didn't Scott own Vitalone's car after Vitalone? Or do I have that wrong? Anyway, I just learned that Vitalone's car, 18729, is for sale through a private seller in Amsterdam; it went up on eBay on the 16th.FYI, I believe Vitalone's 308 GTB was the 4th built and the 1st customer car.
Marc, that's a beautiful car! Did you recently purchase it from Autosport Designs in New York?Hi, I own a 330 gts, 11071, Accapulco Blue with black interior, it was shown at the vintage ferrari concours, concorso italiano at quail lodge in 2001 and a the 6h annual quail motorsport gathering in 2008.
the car is now in switzerland. best marc
All I know is that it was offered for sale by David Dupont of Dover, NH, in 1990: black with tan interior, nice interior, weak paint, 29,000 miles; he had it for sale again in 1991.Did you know this car personally? Do you have any information regarding previous owners?
Beautiful Boxer! Can you tell us anything about it? How long you've had it? Where it was before you took ownership? How many miles (or kilometers)? Is it restored, or is that its original condition?1979 512bb 27533
Honestly, driving them is a lot more fun than collecting their numbers - so while it's important to know the serial numbers and assembly numbers and engine numbers and dates of production (etc., etc., etc.) - it's just so much more fun to get in and go!My mistake on the s/n, still learning my way around these cars. But as a first ferrari I am in love with this car! Yes it is the same car you saw on ebay from SF... Love the car but still trying to track down the prior service records.
Congratulations, Nic! When did you get it? Someone else asked me about this car back in January when it was for sale through, I believe, Richard Purcell of West Coast Luxury. Here's what I have on it...zffbv55a330134144

Nice! Are you in Canada? When was this car in France? It's been in the US since the early '80s. It was red with Boxer trim since the early '80s and wasn't repainted yellow until the late '90s/early 2000s.1979 512BB Serial # 27553, originally silver. Imported from France purchase new from Chinetti
I have the original wheels.

Jack, do you still own these cars? Do you have a picture of the 348's VIN? I ask because that serial number was identified as an F40 in Belgium back in the '90s.Here are my old cars.
