I saw today a 355 spider yellow in France.
But I have a few questions about it and you could answer to me...

it is yellow and on the left raer fender the vernish is damaged...I have a 348 red ant it is not vernished is it normal that this 355 was vernished or not ??

the right actuator cover panel is missing and I thing there are informations written on it (license plate ?) do you know what there is on is.

The 2 cat concertors and a manifold have been changed by new one and it is only 39 000 km (27 000miles)..I never heard that it couild be damaged so early...

so many questions ! buy or not to buy at only 59000 euros...

I think I would walk away from this one unless the owner has a lot of answers to your questions. Specifically regarding the manifolds and cats, the F355 is know to have had problems with both which require replacement. Also, suggest you take a look at the F355 Buyers Guide in the Ferrari Forum Members section. Cheers

I agree with Boxer. There are so many 355 available in France, I'm sure and they should be in much better condition than that. Take your time and seach for a better example. If a car doesn't look good to the eye then it is not good. That's always my motto.

and the most difficult is that now every shop are closed so very hard to have history about this car...
but it is interesting to know that there are problems with manifolds and cats on 355....

Suggest you look at a few other F355's before walking away. It is a great car and has a considerable number of improvements over the 348. There are a lot on the market so I would be patient and find the right one. Cheers

Yes I will wait january to have news....
I red the buyer guide on web site and saw that exhausts problems have explainations for this car. Now I only have to know why the actuator panel is missing and why the car have been repainted...It is very often for ferrarit be repainted I think but the question is: WHY ?????
One thing is shure is that I wont buy it like I would buy a Shirt !
