Hi guys, I was just wondering what others thought about Pininfarina's new work of art. I think it is a masterly crafted car and looks phenomenal. The only problem is; I wish they would make it for the general public. I'm a ferrari enthusiast and would not mind having this car in my collection.

There is a write up and some pictures at www.supercars.net/cars/3456.html , I tried to cut and paste the pictures but couldn't do it.
It looks absolutely stunning, even better than the Enzo on which it has been based. I can't see them making it as it would be like admitting the Enzo wasn't as good as it could have been. I think the rarity factor is one of the things that keep ferrari so special and exclusive, by producing 100 or so of them might spoil that impression. In the past specialist coachbuilders like PF and Zagato have chopped up existing models and rebodied them, so why should the Enzo be any different.
Maybe I'm wrong, let's wait a few years and see if it ends up as the F70

I am sure if you want one and can provide an Enzo as a donor car, Pininfarina would be willing to make you either an identical P4/P5 (assuming the original client agrees) or design something similar. Ferrari will not put it into production as the next F?? Supercar will have a new engine/chassis/etc. They may adopt some of the design elements but it will be a different car.

I was just about to say but I will just echo your basic post. Pininfarina usually only makes one off customs based from Ferrari. Unless you get the go ahead from the owner and you have an extra $2,000,000 or so laying around to completly modify a work of art to begin with !

I read that it costed 2 million Euros, I think that includes the price of the Enzo Ferrari that was used as the base for the P4/5
