Google is not enough. I use ebay too but i couldn't find any on ebay recently, so i also check out ferrari enthusiasts sites and even better, ask people who own them ;) That way i can get as much reference as possible. That was actually how i found this site, when a while back i was working on a Ferrari Testarossa and needed critism on it.

Thanks for the nice words people :) I'm rendering the suspension system now.

I love those renders because you can get it so clean looking and because you can view it from any direction.

It would be a pain, but in the future if you can create a iPix like flash so that we can rotate the object that would be cool.

I'll even donate some of my PCs to rendering, if an over the network render is possible.

are ipix pre rendered frames from each angle of the model so it emulates 3d (except you can only go round it at a certain angle?)

ok maybe none of that makes sense, please explain :D
Yes. It would be a few hundred rendered frames that you can then view.

The other option would be QuickTime VR:

http://www.apple.com/hardware/gallery/mac_mini_jan2005_480.html

Takes a few seconds to download but then you can rotate around the image. In the above link, if you pause it, then you can move it frame by frame and count the frames.

every side of the car, and close ups on lights. Interiors shots would be good, engine shots too, basically if youhave the time, just take pictures of that car as if it was the most beautiful women in the world and it was the only time u'd see her ;)
