Pic of my 328, had her for 12 months now, and still in love, I still find myself going into my garage just so that I can have a look at her and admire her beauty. My 4 yr old son shares my passion for Ferrari, although he doesn't realise that they cost a fortune and doesn't understand why I won't or can't afford to buy an Enzo. Never give up on your dreams.

Thanks for your comments

Thanks for your comments. Yes my son is a real Ferrari enthusiast, I've been taking him to Ferrari Owner shows in the UK for the last 12 months. He already knows which models are 6,8 or 12 cylinder, what their top speeds are and what most models names or numbers are. In the Uk we have cards called Top Trumps where each car is scored by 5 or 6 specifications such as CC, max speed, BHP etc and the winner is the player with the highest value on their card. He knows every card by heart, and combine that with the 40 or so die cast Hot Wheels, Maisto and Burago Ferrari models he has, he will definitely be a regular contributor to forums like this as soon as he is able to write. However, as a 4 yr old he doesn't realise the value of money and that having a nice car isn't a priority in life for most people. He keeps asking me to buy an Enzo (his fav F car) or a 430 spider, maybe if I win the lottery.

You have a very nice 328 Archie,

It’s nice to know you are sharing your passion with your son, I love hearing about stories like that. Too many times people don’t take the time to create a bond with their children with something other than sports…here its hockey, hockey and hockey……..

I know what you mean, in the Uk, it's soccer or Rugby. Neither of which I care for. When I bought the car, it was very much for me and my son, I rarely take it out without him as my co driver. In the summer we go to the owners shows and other car shows to have boys days out - great fun.

There's not just hockey in Canada. They also have curling. Kind of like a cross between shuffleboard and bowling only they made each throw a team effort and you play it on ice. They are the best in the world at it because they have more experience with ice then anyone else. :)

I'm with you on the footy and rugby, I always got taken to race tracks at the weekend when I was young (over 2 decades ago!), now I take myself. Nice 328, looks well cared for. I'm not far from you, the other side of Donington, I'll have to keep my eye open for you :)

Very nice looking 328 GTS. Looking at the wheels, I take it yours is a 88 or 89.
Boxer, it was Jan 90 registered, but it must have been built some time in 89. The convex wheels are the give away, that it's a later ABS model. I've checked the 328 registry and as far as I can tell it was the 3rd from last GTS built, and the 4th from last 328. There is a rumour that Nigel Mansell had the last GTB as a present from Ferrari when he was racing for them. I'm sure someone will know if that's true or not.

Me too, most sundays in the late 70's at Mallory park, Leics watching my uncle race his home made Mini 1275 GT.

Are you going to the 60th anniversary relay at Donny Park on the 19th? Look out for me if you go, my Reg is G11BOS

I've just got back from a break in Portugal (where my 308 lives), so not sure about getting out of working for Dono, I missed the 60th relay in Portugal while I was there. If I do make it to Dono, I'll keep an eye open for you, I'll probably be riding a Bimota motorbike (it's Italian), if the weathers good.
