yep i looks more like some sort of GTS and not a true barchetta/spider
and beeing the fact that it's a glass roof is a bit strange aswell
also have you noticed the Cavallino on the trunk? they made a badge shape around it, that's pretty cool though
about the name, well i don't know, some thimes a year Barchetta, then America then Super America

Ferrari Superamerica it looks like it is.
That is a neat roof arrangement, and the way it lies on the top of the bodywork when opened means it doesn't take-up all the boot space like most other drop-tops do. The lines of the car are very nice, but it would be great to see them get rid of the rear pillars & screen.

I think 575 Superamerica is the real name.
On italiaspeed.com they keep repeating that name.

The top will drop in 10 seconds flat and the car uses electrochromic glass to control the amount of light entering the cockpit. I am sure this is handy when you have a hot date and you want to have your privacy. Or, if you're one who flaunts, you can drop the top and lighten the glass. This car is based on the 550 Barchetta which I love and will most certainly become a modern classic. Also, it shows some resemblance to the new Zender roadster. I hope this car shows up at the Chicago auto show so I can get some pictures. I've got to jet, I can talk more later.
