I tried a new way of photographing and I want to see how you think it looks. I think the new way has a more realistic look. But that may just be me.
I'll attach an old way and the new way for comparison...

Hmmm - I'm not so sure.

I think the depth of focus is now so small that you lose some of the context of the tarmac and background because they're SO out of focus.

Personally - I'd say half way between the two would be best.
