I've added a gallery homepage onto my profile - most of you have probably seen the pics before.
Class description Pete:thumbup: It's an XK120 Jag!Awesome Al! I always enjoy looking at your pictures. I'm suprised by the number of left-hand drive cars there. What's up with that?
And what model car is that in the first picture? The gray one with the fat butt. Cool car.
I know , but it isn't really 30 years ago - if it was it would mean I'm getting old, and i'm not, so it wasn't .Al, I hope that you're paying your daughter minimum wage. You can't make her work an 18 hour shift for 50p pocket money
Ian Dury was fantastic, one of the most under rated singers from the 70's, along with Lee Brillaux from the Feelgood's, shame they've both passed on now, and Joe Strummer too. Makes you realise just how old you are when all your boyhood punk and new wave heroes start dying in their 50's
Did indeed call her Shelby after Carroll, the other brat is called Ginetta,50p, that's more than I give my son. He hasn't started asking for pocket money yet. Anyway he doesn't need it, when he goes out with mummy or daddy he just asks us to buy him things. What's the point of spending your own money when you've got mum and dad.
Did you name your daughter 'Shelby' after the driver and cars?
We're expecting another in November, we've started talking about possible names, I don't think mine and my son's suggestions of 'Enzo' or 'Dino' for a boy went down too well, my wife got really annoyed when I said how about '250 GTO' then
Cheers Tiff, Olympic blue - it was an original colour, fitted afterwards with the correct RS striping. It was done for company that builds MK1 & 2 Escy's. I was staggered by what they are worth now - this company sells them for between £40,000 & £70,000 depending on spec I remember when you could pick up a Mexico or genuine RS for a couple of hundred, spend the weekend welding it up and flog it for a profit of a score within a week:drive: & we all thought we'd done really wellNice gallery Al
I like the colour on that MK1 Escort
Al, I mentioned your post to my wife this morning, she is coming round to Enzo or Dino for a middle name if it's a boy, I'll keep working on it.On another subject - any further with names Arch?
Couple of suggestions?????? Morgan, Aston, Jensen, Austin, Morris, Riley, Alvis...................... ok I'll shut up!
Ambassador, Ital, Maestro, Rebel, KittenAl, I mentioned your post to my wife this morning, she is coming round to Enzo or Dino for a middle name if it's a boy, I'll keep working on it.
I was thinking about going for some classy names that are representative of Britain's proud motoring heritage
