I just bought my first Ferrari, an 85 308 QV on ebay 2 weeks ago, so I'm very new to the game. I'm looking for sources for Parts online first. Also, I need a good Parts and Workshop Manual. Any help I can get will be appreciated.
In all of my research, I found one thing to be true. The car is just flat out FUN to drive, and if it ever stops raining, I'll do a lot of it.

John,
Welcome & congratulations on the purchase. You will find a lot of help here & on the net generally. To start with, register yourself at the Ferrair owner's site at www.owners.ferrari.com with the car's S/N. This gives you access to a number of documents.

You can download the Owner's Handbook if you don't have it (lots of good stuff incl basic maintenance, specs, instructions, etc). Then click on Classique and follow the links to Spare Parts / Browse Catalogue. Pick your model and download the viewer. Hey presto - you can now access the on-line Parts Manuals from Ferrari UK. This is a really great tool & gives you their price listings as well, so you can see if the part you need is SUPER EXPENSIVE or just plain pricey.

There are several sources of downloadable Workshop Manuals to buy. Ferrari UK do it, as well as ferraribooks.com and italiancarparts.com among others. Run a couple of Google searches & see what comes up.

Good luck - keep us posted & put up some pictures when you can!
