Hi!

Well, i'm trying to decide whether I want to get like a 95-97' F355, or a 99-00' 360

I like both, but obviously there is a price difference for give or take 30k

What would be the pro/cons of each purchase? I would like to drive it often, probably 4-5 days a week. Maybe even everyday, lol. But what are maintenence costs? Are they more for the 355? Are there any known problems with either?

Suggestions, advice, all appreciated!

Thanks!

Thank you. Yes, those are quite helpfull. But, i'd still like to know if there are any differences in mantience costs, etc.

What can I expect from that aspect? I have been in the market for a Dodge Viper, so are the maintenence costs similar?

Thanks for the help!!!

I am afraid I have no idea what the service costs on a Viper would be. Main difference in cost between a F355 and 360 is Cambelts are an engine out job on the F355. Suggest you take a quick look at the following which will give you a good idea on the maintenance cost ratios between different Ferrari models:

I wrestled with the same decision, maybe this will help. I went to Vegas and rented a 355 spyder, when I got there they told me they got rid of it because they had too many problems they instead upgraded me to a 360 spyder I came home and bought a 360 within 2 weeks. From a maintenence issue I think the 355 is more labor intensive, however the 355 sounds a little better, I think the 360 is a better engineered car and more practical as a daily driver, i've had mine for 2 weeks, weather kinda sucks and I've put 1500 miles on it, I can't stop driving it. whatever you get make sure it has had the 30K belt service, My advice would be to buy a 360.
