Hello, I am new to the forum. I recently purchased a 1980 308GTSi and I love it!!! Man, what an experience!!! I have a few questions for my fellow members. I'm sorry if these have been asked and answered. I did a search but couldn't quite find the exact answer I was looking for.
The slow down light for cylinders 1-4 stays on all of the time from the minute the car is started until I turn it off. I removed the passenger kick panel and reversed the plugs for the two ceramic looking modules and then the 5-8 slow down light had the same symptoms. Does this mean the ceramic module needs to be replaces or the thermo-couplers in the cats/exhaust are bad?
My car has the original metric rims and tires on it and I recently purchased a set of original Speedline 16x8 and 16x7 rims from a 1990 Mondial T. From the research I've been doing, it sounds like these rims will not work on my car. Is this true? does anyone have any recommendations? I didn't want to have to start dealing with various adapters, spacers, etc. to make these rims work. From my research, it sounds like a lot of owners recommend the QV 16X8 and 16X7 rims. I was trying to stay with as much of a stock look as possible and not necessarily get into the larger 18 and 19 inch rims, etc.
If the Mondial T rims I purchased will not work, is there an area where members can post classifieds?
I really appreciate any advice/help any of you can provide.
thanks in advance for your reply.
Mike
