Anyone else having this problem? I went to register my car and submitted the VIN, plate number, etc. and they said that the information I provided didnt match their records. Is it because the car is just purchased a few weeks ago?

More likely you made a typo on the VIN or something else like that.

actually it happened to me also last year when I purchased my 360. They claimed the owners name did not match...duh, i just bought it. They wanted me to fax a copy of my title to them and I decided this site was just as good or better and did not bother.

I had identical situation. And, when I go back to ferrari.com, I find that the web site is one miserably performing entity. Among the slowest response time I have seen for a major enterprise. Fancy graphics, but not much use if the response time is dismal.

Well, Im glad then that it didnt work :)

Is there any advantage, save the shoddy mechanisms in the site, to registering?

If you register, (and manage to get your VIN corrected, get your name & address correct, etc.) you'll be able to access a few owner areas on the website that non-owners can't, and you'll have access to a few concierge services that non-owners don't. For example, if you want to attend a Ferrari sponsored event, there may be better tickets available, better toys, etc.

Too, if you register which Ferrari dealer you prefer to deal with, you'll get notification from them on upcoming events that they sponsor, etc. I know this is starting to sound like a commercial, so I'll quit here.....

You can also download OMs for your car and they notify you of sales on Ferrari accessories, like watches, clothing, etc for deep, deep discounts for short periods of time. They also e-mail you info on all the latest models, F1, drivers, schools, official videos, etc.

Free, so what do you have to lose?

Mike- Not Ferrari's fault you cannot control your wife. Hope she is good looking to make up for it.

The myferrari app hasn't gotten any better since this thread was created. It is seriously broken.

I registered years back, without a problem, but haven't been back in a very very long time, hmm maybe I should check it out.

I contacted their tech support and they fixed the issue. However, after all the agita, MyFerrari offers very little other than a list of equipment on your vehicle as delivered.
