I know, valves cover needs to be repainted, but I ll do it next year, when i'll do all the bodyworks...but it 'll be another story :)
Great pics Geoffrey - it's such a gorgeous looking car.
Thank for the piX :D ! They are so descriptive and precise! Man, your car is SUHWEEEET!!!! Very beautiful and CLEEEAN :) ! Man! Makes me want to get a red Ferrari now
2 things

1 You wheels are not on the right side of the car ;)
2 I love the subtile Jamiroquai sign on the back of the car :)
Nice pictures, Geoffrey!

Ah, a full engine out service. The perfect time to do it, winter, right before spring so you can go take the car out for some nice drives. Looks good.
I know that rear weels are not in the right side of the car, i have to fix it...:) I think that very few 348 owner knows that there is difference between rims...

it will be done...
I think it's a 348 GTB and not a TB.

I think this because it's red and not black front.

Wright?

But many owners with the eralier generation TB get their black panels painted to match the car and it makes it resemble the later models. In my opinion, this does improve the looks of the car though. That black plasticky look just doesn't look as good as the painted parts.
Actually, that black paint is painted over the Body-color. So you cab strip it off, and don't have to paint it
Bob348, how long did it take to set the valve clearances properly? I have been quoted a lot of $$ and time for this operation (during a pre-purch inspection - I didn't buy it), and I assumed it involved a lot of measuring / disassembly / shimming / reassembly / remeasure / repeat .....

Was this the case?

ps: Do the wheels have any "rotation" or arrow on them to indicate correct orientation?

Ah! I was under the pretense that you would have to go get those panels re-painted with the body colour. Thanks.

You just have to remove the 2 valves covers...and change the valves cover gasket..

After, you have 32 valves to check, so it's sure you need some times to do it...but haven't to change anyone, all my valves clearance were good :)

enjoy if you own a F50...60 Valves to check :)

I Have to change my 2 temperature sensors...

Now i Can really fell the difference, my car is like new :)
