Hi everyone,

I’ve recently bought a mondial QV and have yet to even hear it start, shortly after it left the auction house to me it failed to start and still wont

As soon as I turn the key to start it I get the fuel pump and the fuel distributor start but nothing from the starter motor.

when I got under the car and tested the starter motor I had 12v on the big wire and only 8 on the small wire when turning the key.

has anyone got any tips on what it might be or what I should be checking?

Likely that starter solenoid is defective.

Congrats on the purchase!

They're not difficult to remove/recondition on other cars. Clean it up, tighten the contacts, etc. Ratarossa on youtube has done it - search for testarossa hot start fix.
