I don't know for sure, but I would suspect that the part is one that was borrowed from Fiat's part bin. You might find that you can pick up Fiat parts easier than Ferrari parts and they won't have the Ferrari premium added to the price.

I'm after a headlight switch/stalk for a 328 as mine has a crack on the plastic knob, and suspect it is also a stock Fiat part? But don't know where to start looking.

Mirror Switch

The power mirror switch is actually out of a BMW, mid-80's I think, but I don't know more than that. You might have to search a junk yard. -Steve

The answer is yes. Do you know anything more about the source?
Yes, the images are off the web, but the switch is from a BMW 7 Series E32. As far as I am aware the E23 (7 - prior model), E30 (3) and the E28/E34 (5) carry the same switch. I'll try and verify that.

Certainly does Tif :)
Lancia Delta (91-94) Archie.

I swear I have seen the same switch on the FIAT Ducato/Renault Trafic or Master Vans around mid 80's. Will PM you the link for this switch which happens to be for sale. You need to ensure that the plug connectors are the same (they probably are) if not it may need to be wired into the original connectors. Not sure if you can just remove the caps (probably not).

Apparantly the OE part No is 176972980 (unconfirmed), this might be able to be verified against the part no on the existing switch.

That's great Tif. How on earth did you manage to get that info?
It's only the tip that I need, if it were removable it would be a lot easier to fit than fitting the whole unit. I'd imagine I'd have to take the steering wheel off too. A bit too technical for me, checking the water, oil and tyre pressure is the limit of my expertise:(

When I first saw a 328 one of the things that hit me was that it had FIAT Ducato stalks. It kind of put me off, you know like the Lotus Esprit has Morris Marina door handles, Aston Martin Virage/VW Scirocco rear lights, Enzo/Audi Power mirror switch ;) etc

Mis-spent youth Archie, I grew up working (messing around actually) in my Dad's garage (his knowledge of such things is encyclopedic!).
