In 1970 I saw this car auctioned off and am curious as to its whereabouts.
The registry doesn't even list its original color.
Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks for the input guys.
I posted on a whim after looking at an old catalog I have.
It is a 64, original color was red/orange.
I have the seller's name and will follow up when I return from vacation.
BTW it sold for 4K (no misprint), but as a struggling student it might have been 400K to me. At the same time I tried to convince my dad that a GTO offered at 6K might be a good investment. He didn't bite :(

The stories on what 250 GTOs sold for in the late 60s are just painful:cry3:
