Whats up? Im new here and I dont own a Ferrari(wish I did
) I own a 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, and Im playing with a little and while underneath it, I noticed the horn, and I wanted to switch for something diffrent, and I though when I heard a Ferrari horn, It just sounds Really good and most importantly DIFFERENT, but am I hearing a Ferrari with the European Specs? or all Ferrari even the US versions have that distinctive sound? or is just plainly Italian built cars get that diffrent pitch?
I believe US cars have an "F" note, so I dont know what that other one Im talking about. So far I found a Fiat horn( just to try it out) and replaced for the High and Low I had from Factory, so now theres only one, but its not the sound I was goind for, Anyone know where I could find that Italian horn sound? My original are "FIAMM" as well as the Fiat one, and I noticed ferrari horns on Ebay also are "FIAMM" but Im not sure what note it plays, :-?
also, I know Ferrari parts are more expensive because of their higher build quality, but if the honks are all truly made by "FIAMM" then will it be about the same, under $50 that is? thanx for yo' help and I cant wait to see alot of you guys at Indiannapolis at F1 for the Ferrari get together 8)
