With the success of the previous Safety Flasher module for the LED FULL LINE center stop/3rd brake light, a complete new version has been developed using the latest electronic technologies. This new version is now also much easier to configure. It's entirely part of the LED Full Line center brake light which has an edge to edge illumination providing 20% more light than stock.
This micro-processor based Smart ECU module, running our firmware, will flash the center LED Stop Light when you brake to get more attention from drivers behind you and alert traffic to stop!
When the brake pedal is pressed, the center stop light will flash during the configured duration and at the configured speed (default 2 seconds - medium speed), then will turn steady on. The duration of the flashes as well as the flash speed can easily be configured.
It's also possible to set the module in continuous flash mode which will make the center stop light flash as long as the brake pedal is pressed.
It's now also possible to disable the ECU module which will make the center stop light turn always steady on.
The device features a unique re-activation timing system to minimize the annoyance of brake light flashes when the brakes are used in heavy traffic. Your Ferrari LED third brake light will flash the configured number of times the first time the brake pedal is pressed, then the flashing effect is disabled if the brakes were pressed during the configured period of time (configurable between 4 and 20 seconds - default 10 seconds). In other words, the center stop light will flash each time the brake pedal is pressed during less than the configured timing, otherwise, it will turn steady on.
It features also a unique Pulsing mode (by default disabled). When activated, the brake light will flash between full and partial intensity, the brake light is never turned fully off but goes between fully ON and dimmed. Among 9 brightness levels can be configured.
With the provided configuration switch, this ECU module can be easily configured and it's now also possible to easily revert back to the factory defaults.
Flasher configurable modes (see installation guide for further details):
Flash duration: from 1 to 8 seconds, continuous flashes or flashes disabled
Flash speed rate: from 25 milliseconds (very fast) to 250 milliseconds (slow)
Reactivation timing: disabled or from 4 to 20 seconds
Pulsing mode: disabled or from 5% to 45% brightness

For those who upgraded their Ferrari 458 - 599 - FF rear lights with the Novitec tinted version, unfortunately, Novitec stopped selling them after having had too many issues with failing lights. These Ferrari 599 Novitec dark rear lights came in our factory in a quite bad condition. In addition to the destroyed round lenses, the LED chips are very much damaged too. Although, we will entirely repair these rear lights which will return to our customer as new. The repair includes also our vast improvement of the electronic board to make them well more reliable.

This is our third generation of the Ferrari LED rear lights system using now 100% CREE LED technology.
Compared to OEM (very hot incandescent bulbs causing corroded contacts), the parking/position/running LED lights are well more visible with a smooth light while not blinding at night. They don't heat at all and need very little power. All this technology is completely integrated in new high heat resistant "bulb holders", no failing bulb contacts anymore. You just need to replace the old bulb holders with the new LED features, that's it.

Compared to OEM, the stop/brake LED lights are well more visible. Euro spec cars have even only one half of the outer light cluster illuminated with poor light and very slow incandescent bulbs. Look and compare the red glare left on the table. A serious safety improvement.
