Just got this cover from Specialised Car Covers. Looks good and fits like a glove.

Also, I have been trying a few different polishes lately and dispite my best efforts I cannot get the fine swirl scratches out completely. I have tried Zymol, Turtle Wax, and today Auto Glym Extra Gloss Protection. They all give a fairly good shine and I am reasonably impressed with the Auto Glym and Zymol, but if you look closely you can still see all the fine scratches. Is it impossible to get these fine scratches out completely? What is the best product for polishing and has anyone got any handy tips for good results?

I would recommend trying a coat of a sythetic wax such as Klasse All in one followed by a pure Brazilian Carnauba such as Pinnacle Souveran Car Wax. This should offer some good durability and keep the swirls to a minimum. The waxes you are using now are good, but you need to move up a level to the exceptional waxes. I also recommend P21S Wax as you can see the results on this black car below:

Azzuro, your car looks Awesome!

Andy,
I think you are doing all you can, I have been doing the same thing with the same results you have been getting. Everybody else thinks it looks great, but you and I both know that it is mediocrce. Like Azzuro said, you and I need to move up to the nest level.
I have been doing some research and I think the next step I am going to take is Zaino Bros. There has been some discussion about it here on this forum and the people that use it swear by it. Check it out but be forewarned, it ain't cheap.

Oh no my good friend, that is not my car. But, the results are still stunning nonetheless. This is why I advocate dark colors on a car. Green, Blue, and Black are wonderful if you are going to be kind to your paint and horrid if you are going to abuse it. Zaino is a great brand I hear. Perhaps you too should try the clay bar; others swear by it.

What's it made of? How soft is it, or is it lined with something soft? Do they do them for each Ferrari model?

It feels very soft, I've just had a look on the label and it doesn't say what it is made of. It says on the label 'wash on synthetic cycle'. It is only a single ply. I assume they make them for any model, there is a cut-out for the wing mirror and they asked if it had one or two mirrors when I ordered it.
