I have 15 +/- 1:18 scale Ferrari's and just want to show off a couple of them...

They are Mattel as they have the exclusive contract as of right now.
Mostly I collect 1:64 scale since they store a lot easier, but lately I have been getting more into 1:18 for the detail. Most of the ones I have right now are Mattel, but I do have Maisto, Bburago, Ertl, and 1 AutoArt. Exoto will be added as money allows. I absolutely love the detail on those.
In total I have almost 2000 1:64 scale cars, and about 60 1:18 scale cars.
I am selling almost all of my 1:64 to pay for the 1:18 though. They get expensive quick!

Personally i preffer 1/43
better quality and detail (especially with mattel) and also more too choose from.
but this also comes at a price
like you mentioned compare it with the exoto's, very pricy

1/64 you (probably) used to play with when you was a little boy! I did with the likes of Matchbox, Majorette and Hotwheels. In the US it is a very common scale to collect, but in Europe 1/43 is most popular.

I like 1/18s. I have about 30 and I only collect Ferraris and in red. I have 1/43 as well, have about 50 but have stopped collecting them. I love the large scale models the 1/12 and 1/8. I have a few F40s models that are yet to be assembled. Lazy me.
