Hello everyone. Does anyone know the name of the Jackie Chan movie which featured a 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS, that was used and damaged in the movie? I believe I may be in posession of this exact Ferrari. Thanks, - Mike.

I think they use replicas when they do shots where Ferrari's will be wrecked

The car was purchased damaged. Apparently, it was damaged as part of this movie (the name of which I still do not know). It has been restored, but I am still trying to find out if it is actually THE Ferrari used in the movie.

Just a side note here...when they were filming Bad Boys II, Martin Lawrence damaged the 550 they were using. He opened the door too fast and it smacked into a post that was beside the car putting a nice big dent in the door. If you have the DVD of the movie, it shows him doing it somewhere in the special features.

Back on the subject...I can't think of the name of the movie but good luck on verification! That would be a cool tidbit of knowledge about your car.

The car isn't actually mine. I'm asking on behalf of a friend (I said it was mine for ease of conversation). When he purchased it damaged from Hong Kong, he was told it was used in a Jackie Chan movie. He is trying to verify wether what he was told was "This is the same model Ferrari that they used in the movie" or "This is the EXACT Ferrari used in the movie." He does not know the name of the movie, and I cannot find any such movie on the net about Jackie Chan involving a Ferarri. That is why I put the post up here. Just trying to shed some light on this mysterious claim...

There was a 328 in Canon Ball Run and Jackie Chan was in this movie, but I don't recall the car getting wrecked. Perhaps one of the Rush Hours?

If I am not mistaken...the driving scenes it was a real 355. When the trolly destroyed it...fake. Fake, fake at that. It was basically just the shell they ran over.

The only Jackie Chan film (sort of) I can think of off hand is the 6 minute Hong Kong Promo for "Gen-X Cops". During this Promo they use multiple Ferraris provided by the Ferrari Owners Club. I do not know if any where damaged.

You might try posting the question on some of the Jackie Chan Fan Club Sites.
